Start with required and verifiable information instead of allowing one marketing phrase to control the decision.
Find these sections first
- Exact product name and intended species.
- Ingredient list.
- Guaranteed analysis.
- Nutritional adequacy statement and life stage.
- Calorie content and feeding directions.
- Manufacturer or distributor information.
A picture of a dog or cat is not a substitute for a species statement. Copy important wording exactly and record anything you cannot find.
