Check your bag in 3 steps
1. Find who made it
“Manufactured by” names the company that made the food. “Distributed by” or “manufactured for” means another company made it for them.
2. Find the lot code and date
It is usually stamped on the top or bottom seam. Take a photo of it when you open the bag.
3. Check the FDA recall list
Match the brand, product, bag size, lot code, and date. If your lot is not listed, your bag usually is not part of that recall.
